The Peacemakers' Revolution
The King of Compassion
We are in a “spiritual battle” for our souls. From the events taken place in 2020 and all that has transpired since, what we see does not match what we feel to be right. Now more than ever, truth is being perverted into subjective, abstract opinion depending on what “lens” you look through. In this age we must stand for what is morally sound more than ever. To do this, is to rebel against a world that has lost it moral compass. Finding our direction comes with learning how to walk the path of the greatest revolutionary in history. Come and see how rebellious the behavior and reactions of the King of compassion are contrary to every ruler who has ever existed upon the face of earth…
~Jesus has been more revolutionary than anyone throughout history and whether he is approved of or not, everyone on earth knows who he is…. Why is that?
-He guides us to respect, mercy, and grace allowing us to experience free will to the fullest-
-His intentions provides the opportunity for everyone to unite under one nation of Love, yet in the short term that requires profound change-
-He teaches that love is the only path to everlasting peace-
The King of grace and mercy differs from all “rulers” in history.
While enduring the greatest of injustice and torture hanging upon a cross, suffering the comprehensive totality of physical and emotional pain, Jesus said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34).
His compassion for enemies is evident with His teaching to “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.” (Luke 6:35) Jesus realized this teaching when he healed the Roman soldiers’ ear that Simon Peter cut off, and then he went with the Roman legion without struggle. (Luke 22:49-54).
Jesus is teaching us that our enemies are misguided by worldly pains, heartache, and loss, creating “defense” mechanisms that become internal imprisonment for their souls. His pioneering guidance for praying for his enemies to become loving and peaceful is why Jesus is a revolutionist, and His merciful teachings are what redeem and unite lost souls.
His layers of love are extensive, to name a few:
He exemplifies these qualities throughout his ministry, including when a woman suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years came up from behind Him and touched the fringe of his cloak, for she believed this would heal her. He was not angry with her for “stealing” His power of healing; instead, he was compassionate and uplifting, saying to her, “Daughter, take courage: your faith has made you well” (Mt 9:20-22).
When Pharisees brought a prostitute to Him for condemnation, Jesus said to her, “Woman, did no one condemn you?” “Neither do I condemn you; go your way. From now on sin no more.” (John 8:3-11).
~~ His ability to see past a person’s labels, condemnations, sins, and into their pain, heartbreak, and broken souls, is the love that we must acquire to guide us in becoming Peacemakers~~
To be revolutionary, we must practice a new way through life
Jesus left instructions on how to unite all the world’s people through mercy and love to gain peace. With mercy, we will stop reacting combatively and start looking to help others afflicted by anger, greed and many other sins. Our mercy will unite the people with understanding. Our understanding will allow the virtues of love to lead our united nation into a world of peace.
To become the change you want to see, be an advocate and revolutionize yourself with the teachings of Jesus Christ! An excellent place to begin your transformation is in the Epistle of James, a concise overview of becoming a peacemaker.
